    Moneris Go Portal - My Account

    This article covers information regarding how to edit your login credentials for Moneris Go portal and/or your synched terminals.


    My account

    “My account”

    The steps below describe how to configure your Moneris Go portal/terminal user account settings, including name and login credentials.
    1. Log into the Moneris Go portal, and access any store (see Moneris Go portal - Logging into the Moneris Go portal).
    2. From any page in your store, click on your user accounttile, which displays in the top right corner of the Moneris Go portal page header (shown below).
    3. When the user account menu displays (shown below), click on My account.
    4. When the "My account" page displays (shown below), configure your user account preferences as desired:

    Terminal

    Changing your name information

    The steps below describe how to update the first name and last name associated with your user account.

    1. Access your user account settings (see Moneris Go portal - "My account" settings).
    2. On the "My account" page (shown below), click on the Go to Moneris Portal button to return to Moneris Portal (you must edit your user account settings/name information from within Moneris Portal).

      Note: The name change may not be applied in Moneris Go portal. For Moneris Portal documentation and other resources, visit https://www.moneris.com/en/support/products/moneris-portal.

       

     

    Changing your Moneris Go portal login password

    The steps below describe how to change your Moneris Go portal login password.
    1. Access your user account settings (see Moneris Go portal - "My account" settings).
    2. On the "My account" page (shown below), click on the Go to Moneris Portal button to return to Moneris Portal (you must edit your user account settings/login credentials from within Moneris Portal).

    Changing your terminal login password

    The steps below describe how to change your terminal login password. (The change applies to any terminal that is synched to the store through which you are resetting your terminal login password.1)
    1. Access your user account settings (see Moneris Go portal - "My account" settings).
    2. On the "My account" page, scroll to the "Terminal" module (shown below).
    3. In the "Terminal" module, click on Reset password.
    4. When the "Terminal password reset" widow displays (shown below), do the following:
      1. In the Portal login password field, enter your current Moneris Portal login password.
      2. In the New password field, enter the new login password for your terminal.

        Note: The password must adhere to these requirements:

         
      3. In the Confirm password field, re-enter the new login password for your terminal.

        Note: The data in the "Confirm password" field must match the data in the "New password" field.

         
      4. Click on the Save password button.
      5. When the "User updated successfully" response displays, the operation is complete.

    1. If you have multiple stores linked to your user account, you can use the My Stores function to move between your stores (see Moneris Go portal - Using My Stores).

     

    Changing your terminal login username

    The steps below describe how to change your Moneris Go terminal login username. (The change applies to any terminal that is synched to the store through which you are resetting your terminal login username.1) 

    1. Access your user account settings (see Moneris Go portal - "My account" settings).
    2. On the "My account" page, scroll to the "Terminal" module (shown below).
    3. In the Username field, enter a new terminal login username.

      Note: This field is case sensitive. The username must adhere to these requirements:

       
    4. Click on the Save button.
    5. When the "User updated successfully" response displays, the operation is complete.

    1. If you have multiple stores linked to your user account, you can use the My stores function to move between your stores (see Moneris Go portal - Using My Stores).
    • 1 to 30 alphanumeric characters (i.e., letters between A to Z and/or numbers between 0 to 9)
    • Spaces and special characters are not supported
