Moneris Total Commerce - Export PAYD Pro Plus Data to Import into MTC
This article explains how to export PAYD Pro Plus inventory and customer data so that they can be imported into the Wix Dashboard. This will help PAYD Pro Plus merchants migrate to Moneris Total Commerce.

For PAYD Pro Plus merchants migrating to Moneris Total Commerce, this article will provide instructions on exporting customer and inventory data from PAYD Pro Plus and instructions to import those datasets into the Wix dashboard. The exported customer and inventory profiles will then be useable within the Wix POS application.
Before you begin
Moneris recommends that you perform this task on a PC or laptop outside of regular business hours to ensure that your exports are not interrupted.
What do I need to do with PAYD Pro Plus before I can begin exporting the data?
Get an inventory count
- On a PC or laptop, log in to PAYD Administration.
- On the main menu, click Inventory, then click Product list.
- On the Product search results screen, look at the bottom of the screen under the navigation buttons to see the number of products found.
Get a customer count
- On a PC or laptop, log in to PAYD Administration.
- On the main menu, click Profiles, and under the Customers menu section, click Search.
- In the Customer search results screen, look at the bottom of the screen under the navigation buttons to see the number of customers found.
A note about the exported data
Once the data has been exported from PAYD Pro Plus into the CSV files, Wix advises that you should not edit the CSV files to make changes to their contents/structures. Changes could prevent the exported data from being successfully imported.
Exporting PAYD Pro Plus Data
How do I export PAYD Pro Plus inventory data?
To export your PAYD Pro Plus inventory data (product profiles) so that it can be imported into Moneris Total Commerce, follow the instructions below.
Note: Do not export while your business is open; perform this task on a PC or laptop outside of regular business hours.
Important: The Wix Dashboard only allows 5000 product files to be imported per CSV file. This means that if your PAYD Pro Plus inventory database has more than 5000 unique items, you will need to break your export file up.
- On a PC or laptop, log in to PAYD Administration.
- Click the Migration menu option at the top of the screen.
- In the Migration screen, under the Moneris Total Commerce section, click the Inventory export button. A confirmation popup appears.
- Click OK on the popup. The export begins.
- When the export completes, you’ll see a notification at the top of the screen (“Migration completed. The file is ready for download.”).
- Click the Download link.
- PAYD Pro Plus downloads a file called Inventory_PPP_to_MTC.csv to your computer’s Downloads folder.
Once the file has been downloaded, it is ready to be imported into Moneris Total Commerce. See How do I import inventory data into the Wix Dashboard? below for more information.
How do I export the customer data from PAYD Pro Plus?
To export your PAYD Pro Plus customer data (customer profiles) so that it can be imported into Moneris Total Commerce, follow the instructions below.
Note: Do not export while your business is open; perform this task outside of regular business hours.
- On a PC or laptop, log in to PAYD Administration.
- Click the Migration menu option at the top of the screen.
- In the Migration screen, under the Moneris Total Commerce section, click the Customer export button. A confirmation popup appears.
- Click OK on the popup. The export begins.
- When the export completes, you’ll see a notification at the top of the screen (“Migration completed. The file is ready for download.”).
- Click the Download link.
- PAYD Pro Plus downloads a file called Clients_PPP_vers_MTC.csv to your computer’s Downloads folder.

How do I export the other data from PAYD Pro Plus?
The Historical Data export generates each report contained within PAYD Pro Plus for the entire time your business has been using the application. The generated reports are then grouped together into a zip file, which you can store and view in Excel at any time. Use these reports as record keeping for your business while you were using PAYD Pro Plus.
To export all of your PAYD Pro Plus reports, follow the instructions below.
Note: Do not export while your business is open; perform this task outside of regular business hours.
- On a PC or laptop, log in to PAYD Administration.
- Click the Migration menu option at the top of the screen.
- In the Migration screen, under the Historical Data section, click the Export button. A confirmation popup appears.
- Click OK on the popup. The export begins.
- When the export completes, you’ll see a notification at the top of the screen (“Migration completed. The file is ready for download.”).
- Click the Download link.
- PAYD Pro Plus downloads a file called PPP_Reports.zip to your computer’s Downloads folder.
Note: You cannot import these exported reports into the Wix dashboard. They are only to be used for informational purposes.
Importing PAYD Pro Plus Data into the Wix Dashboard
How do I import inventory data into the Wix Dashboard?
Now that your PAYD Pro Plus product profiles have been exported, follow these instructions to import those product files into the Wix Dashboard, so that you can sell them to your customers via Moneris Total Commerce.
Note: Perform this task outside of your regular business hours on the same PC or laptop which you used to export the data from PAYD Pro Plus.
Important: The Wix Dashboard only allows 5000 product files to be imported per CSV file. This means that if your PAYD Pro Plus inventory database has more than 5000 unique items, you will need to break your export file up.
- Log in to the Wix Dashboard using your login credentials.
- On the main menu, click Catalog, then click Products.
- On the Products screen, click the More Actions button at the top of the screen.
- On the menu that appears, click Import.
- Since you already exported your inventory data from PAYD Pro Plus using the migration tool, you can ignore Step 1 on the Import products to your store popup.
- Click the Upload CSV File button in Step 2. The Open dialog box opens to browse your computer’s hard drive.
- Browse to your computer’s Downloads folder and locate the Inventory_PPP_to_MTC.csv file that you downloaded earlier when you exported the data from PAYD Pro Plus. Once you find the file, click on it, then click the Open button at the bottom of the dialog box. The dialog box closes and the Import products to your store popup reappears.
- Click the Continue button at the bottom of the Import products to your store popup. The system analyzes the import CSV file and provides a review screen.
- Choose one of the following:
- If your import was error free, click the Import # Products button, and proceed to step 10.
- If your import file contained errors, but you’d like to continue to import all of the error free products only, click the Import # Products button, and proceed to step 10.
- If your import file contained many errors and you do not want to import it yet, click View Errors. A report will appear showing you the row(s) in your file which contained errors. You will need to open the import file in Excel, correct the errors, then begin this import process again at step 1.
- The import processes and the imported products are added to your Wix product catalog. When the Import complete popup appears, click the Got It button.
Congratulations! You have successfully imported your PAYD Pro Plus inventory into Wix. You can now sell these products through the Wix POS app, leveraging the power of Moneris Total Commerce.
How do I import customer data into the Wix Dashboard?
Now that your PAYD Pro Plus customer profiles have been exported, follow these instructions to import those customers into the Wix Dashboard, so that you can continue to track your customers and their purchases in Moneris Total Commerce.
Note: Perform this task outside of your regular business hours on the same PC or laptop which you used to export the data from PAYD Pro Plus.
Important: The Wix Dashboard only allows 5000 customer files to be imported per CSV file. This means that if your PAYD Pro Plus customer database has more than 5000 unique records, you will need to break your export file up.
- Log in to the Wix Dashboard using your login credentials.
- On the main menu, click Customers & Leads, then click Contacts.
- On the Contacts screen, click the down arrow on the Create New button, then click Import.
- In the Import Contacts screen, click the Get Started button under the CSV file tile.
- In the first step (Prepare), click the Next button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Upload your customer database as follows:
- Click browse a file and browse to your computer’s Downloads folder and locate the Customers_PPP_to_MTC.csv file.
- Once you find the file, click on it, then click the Open button at the bottom of the dialog box. The dialog box closes and the Upload your file screen appears.
- (Optional) If your customers have agreed to receive email from your business, place a checkmark in the Mark as email subscribers checkbox. If they have not agreed, or you don’t collect email addresses, leave the box unchecked.
- Click the Next button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Wait while it processes.
- In the Match fields to Wix Contacts screen, click the Next button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Wait while it processes.
- When the summary of the import appears, review the information. Choose one of the following:
- If your import was error free, click the Next button in the bottom right corner of the screen and proceed to step 11.
- If your import file contained errors, but you’d like to continue to import the customer files anyway, click the Next button in the bottom right corner of the screen and proceed to step 11.
- If you wish to correct the errors, you can download a CSV file that provides information on the errors and describes how to fix your CSV file. Click Download file and review the information it provides. Make your fixes to your CSV file and then begin the import again at step 1.
- At the Label your contacts screen, click the Import button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Wait while the system processes the import.
- When the Import Completed screen appears, click the Done button.
Congratulations! You have successfully imported your PAYD Pro Plus customer profiles into the Wix Dashboard. These customers will now appear in the Wix POS app.
Can I import other PAYD Pro Plus data into the Wix dashboard?
No, at this time you are only able to import client and inventory data into the Wix dashboard.
