Integrate your Go / Go Plus terminal with the Go Retail web application
Integrate your Go / Go Plus terminal with the Go Retail web application
In order to use your Moneris Go terminal with the Go Retail web application, you must switch the terminal from standalone mode to integrated mode (also known as cloud mode). Once the terminal is in integrated mode, it can receive commands from the Go Retail web application when you process a transaction. Your customers can then use the terminal to enter their payment cards. The terminal also sends payment information back to Go Retail.
Follow these steps to download and install the Go Integrated app. For more detailed instructions, visit https://support.moneris.com/moneris-go-solutions/moneris-go, click on the terminal you are using (for example, Go or Go Plus), then refer to the Moneris Go or Go Plus Integrated Getting Started Guide.

External barcode scanners
Set up and use an external barcode scanner with the web app
A scanner allows you to efficiently capture barcode information while eliminating the potential errors associated with manual entry. The Go Retail web application supports the use of an external barcode scanner to capture UPC and SKU codes and to add products to the cart when a customer is ready to check out.
Note: If you're using the Go Retail app on the Moneris Go Plus terminal, refer to Using the Go Plus terminal's integrated scanner.
External scanners available from Moneris
Moneris sells two barcode scanners on our online store at https://shop.moneris.com, both of which will work with the Go Retail web application.
