How to log into Moneris Portal and how to create an account if you don't have one.
Overview
The Moneris Portal is intended to be a single location from which to access all your Moneris digital products, including Merchant Direct and Go portal. As we continue to build the solution, more digital products will be added to the Moneris Portal.
Getting started
Log into Moneris Portal
You can log into the Moneris Portal using the credentials you created as part of your set up journey.
Enter your email address and password, then click Log in.
After you log in successfully, the Moneris Portal sends a verification code to the email address you used to log in. Here is an example of the email you will receive.
Open the email message and make note of the verification code.
If you don’t see the message in your in-box, check your junk folder.
If the code expires, refer to the next step. You can send a new code.
The portal displays the verification code screen. Enter the verification code from the email message.
If you did not receive a code or the code expired, click Send new code.
To bypass having to enter a code each time you log in for the next 30 days, click the checkbox next to "Remember my device" before clicking Verify code.
NOTE: The “Remember my device” feature works only when using the same computer and the same browser. This feature should only be used if you are working with a trusted computer. Do not select "Remember my device" on a shared computer.
Click Verify code.
After verifying your identity, the Moneris Portal displays a tile for each portal for which you are registered, for example, Merchant Direct and Go Portal. Click Launch to access each portal. If the tile displays the Activate button (shown below for Go Portal) instead of the Launch button, click Activate to register for that portal. Refer to Activate access to Merchant Direct or Go Portal (or other resources).
Create an account from the Log in page
If you don't have an account for the Moneris Portal, you can create one at the log in page.
Enter the last 11 digits of your 13-digit merchant number, in other words, do not include the first two zeros. You can find your merchant number in the welcome email from Moneris or on your statements.
Click Check eligibility. The portal checks to see if you are eligible to create your own account.
If you are eligible, proceed to the next step. If you get a message indicating you are not eligible, contact your own helpdesk/head office or call Moneris Customer Support at 1-866-319-7450.
On the account details panel:
Enter your first name.
Enter your last name.
Think of a password and enter it in the New password field. Make sure the password meets the requirements shown on screen.
Enter the password again in the Confirm password field.
Click Continue.
On the security questions panel:
Select a question that only you can answer.
Enter a short answer.
After answering 3 questions, click Create account.
When the portal indicates your account has been created successfully, click Log in to Moneris Portal.
At the Log In page:
Enter the email address you used to create your account.
Activate access to Merchant Direct or Go portal (or other resources)
After logging into the Moneris Portal, you may see tiles for Merchant Direct or Go portal (or another digital resource) with the Activate button. You can use these tiles to register yourself for each portal.
Note: If you are already registered, you will see the Launch button.
Activate access to Merchant Direct (MD)
If the Activate button appears on the MD tile, click Activate to register yourself for the Merchant Direct portal.
Enter the last 11 digits of your 13-digit merchant number, in other words, do not include the first two zeros. You can find your merchant number in the welcome email from Moneris or on your statements
When the "Success" message appears, click Return to Moneris Portal to launch Merchant Direct.
If the portal indicates "You are currently not allowed to create an account," contact your account representative or call Customer Care at 1-866-319-7450.
Activate access to the Go Portal
If the Activate button appears on the Go Portal tile, click Activate to register yourself for the Go portal.
Enter the last 11 digits of your 13-digit merchant number, in other words, do not include the first two zeros. You can find your merchant number in the welcome email from Moneris or on your statements
When the "Success" message appears, click Return to Moneris Portal to launch the Go Portal.
If the portal indicates "You are currently not allowed to create an account," contact your account representative or call Customer Care at 1-866-319-7450.
