Learn about the different reports available in the Go Retail web app and the Go Retail terminal app.

Overview
Go Retail offers several reports to help you better understand your business, as well as functions such as searching, filtering, and downloading. To access the Reports page, click Reports on the main menu.
There are five tabs on the Reports page. Click on each link to find out more.
- Transactions. This report includes a list of all transactions, summarized by transaction type (sales, pre-auth, refunds), together with the net total and tip total.
- Sales report. This report summarizes your sales for a specific period, showing gross sales (sales of products, not including taxes), deductions (refunds and discounts), net sales (gross sales minus deductions), taxes collected on sales, tips collected on sales (except cash transactions), and total sales (net sales plus taxes collected).
Cashier Sales. This report shows the number of items sold, total sales in dollars, the number of items returned, the total returns in dollars, average cost per item, and total cost of items sold. You can filter this report by clerk/cashier or by product.
- Product sales. This report summarizes sales and refunds by product.
- Inventory count. This report shows product details and inventory details.
Reports in the terminal app
Sales report. It includes all transactions processed by Go Retail, regardless of whether you processed the transaction on the web app or the terminal app. The report shows gross sales, total refunds and net sales by payment type (for example, cash, MC, Visa, Interac, and so on). You can filter the transactions by date, by payment method, and by employee/user. You must be an admin user to filter by employee/user.

To access the Transactions report, click Reports on the main menu. The Transactions report tab appears by default.
The transactions report shows all transactions. The report allows you to:
- click on each transaction to view its details
- select a date range
- search by amount or order ID
- filter transactions
- download the report
View transactions details
Click on each transaction to open the Transaction details panel, including the transaction history. If an order was refunded, it will appear in the history.
Select a date range
You can choose the date range of the data presented in the report. There are many preset options: today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month, this quarter, and last quarter. You can also select a custom date range using the date picker.

Filter transactions
You can filter transactions by transaction type, card type, or user account. This is useful when you have numerous transactions.
- To begin filtering, click the filter
icon. The Filter transactions panel appears.

Cashier sales report
Cashier sales report
The Cashier sales report shows sales information, for the selected time period, organized by cashier name/user ID, including:
- Total sales (including tips)
- Total refunds
- Tips received

Inventory Count report
Inventory Count report
The Inventory Count report shows product and inventory data from your store:
- Product information (name, variants, product ID, UPC, SKU, category)
- Inventory management data (minimum threshold quantity, reorder quantity, in-stock quantity displayed in red if it is less than the minimum threshold)
Access the report
To access the Inventory Count report:
- Click Reports on the main menu. The Transactions report appears by default.
- Next to Product Sales, click Inventory Count.
Download the report
Follow these steps to download inventory data. The date of export is always the current date. It cannot be changed.

The Product sales tab includes two reports:
- Product sales (quantity of each product sold / returned, total sales/returns before taxes )
- Product sales by cashier (Sales and returns broken down by product for each cashier)
Access the report
To access the Product sales reports:
- Click Reports on the main menu. The Transactions report appears by default.
- Click Product Sales.
Download the report
Follow these steps to select a date range and download data.

Sales report on the terminal app
Sales report on the terminal app
This report is available on the Go Retail app running on your Moneris Go terminal. It includes all transactions processed by Go Retail, regardless of whether you processed the transaction on the web app or the terminal app.
The report shows:
- gross sales
- total refunds
- a summary of sales (purchases, refunds, net total) by payment type (for example, cash, MC, Visa, Interac, and so on)
You can filter the transactions by date, by payment method, and by employee/user.

Change the date range
You can change the date range of the report.

Filter the report by payment type or employee ID
You can filter the report by payment type (for example, cash, MC, Visa, Interac) or by employee.
Note: Filtering by employee/user is available only to users at the admin level. Users who are assigned the high or low roles will see only their own transactions. Refer to User roles to view the roles available to user accounts.

The Sales report summarizes your sales for a specific period, showing:
- gross sales (sales of products, not including taxes),
- deductions (refunds and discounts),
- net sales (gross sales minus deductions),
- taxes collected on sales,
- tips collected on sales (except cash transactions)
- total sales (net sales plus taxes collected).
To access the Sales report, click Reports on the main menu.
- On the Reports page, click Sales report.
- Click the date selection field to change the date, as needed. The default date is today. You can select pre-defined dates (for example, Yesterday) or date ranges (for example, Last week, Last month, This quarter, Last quarter, and so on), or a custom range. The report data appears immediately.
- To export the report, click Export and select a file format.
